At Berkeley Hall, we believe there are no limits to what your child can achieve with effort and practice. It’s an idea that began in 1911 when the Cooper sisters founded this groundbreaking co-educational school at a time when women did not have the right to vote and gender segregation was the norm in the United States.
Today their vision is alive in every aspect of a Berkeley Hall scholar’s experience. It’s alive in our rigorous academic program. It’s alive in our vibrant community. And it’s alive in the strong values at the heart of everything we do. Each teacher and staff member is committed to our school’s founding mission - to empower children to fulfill their unlimited, God-given potential.
As Berkeley Hall’s Interim Head of School, I am proud to be part of this vision and history, having been a BHS student and played and learned alongside other curious scholars on our beautiful campus. For the past ten years, I have also loved supporting and nurturing the growth of countless students as a teacher and administrator. In taking over from Dr. Nikki Gamrath, I am committed to building on the great work that has come before me.
We hope you enjoy browsing the website to learn about opportunities that await your child. We look forward to meeting you when you visit our 66-acre, mountaintop campus.
